MATCH PLAY TIME
All matches start at 7pm. If your team or a player will be late, it is your responsibility to inform the opposing team. Any lateness that will result in match play starting more than 15 minutes after start time should be discussed and approved between teams before the night of play.
If a make-up game is scheduled, notify the team coordinator and match location as soon as possible.
SUBSTITUTIONS
If one or more players on your team are unable to play a scheduled match, it is your team’s responsibility to find a substitute or coordinate with the opposing team for a make-up game. If a make-up game is schedule, notify the team coordinator and match location as soon as possible.
LEAGUE FEES
Dart League fees are $6 per player per night. Fees are collected the night of play by the Dart Board.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE
Starting in 2019, Capital City Games & Music will collect a $10 per year League Fee from every player and substitute. This fee directly assists in the maintenance of the website, enhanced communication and software and League Coordinator compensation. If you have any questions about this fee or if the yearly fee of $10 hinders you from playing, please contact us. It is not our intention to make Dart League expensive or unattainable, but it is our goal to make your experience a memorable one that fosters transparent communications and excellent sportsmanship.

SUBS - WHERE TO GET THEM AND WHEN
A current Sub Roster is located on the Members page. Please contact a sub of your choice as early as possible. Subs can play for multiple teams throughout a session. You may bring your own sub (someone not on the current roster), but we request if the sub plays more then two times during a session that they become a member of Cap City Darts (pay annual $10 Membership Fee and be listed on the roster.)
If you have team member(s) with numerous conflicts throughout the session, it is advised that you have a sub on your team roster.
BECOME A SUB & SUB FEES
Substitutes also pay the yearly $10 League Fee and their handicaps are stored in the LeagueLeader System. They should be called up and added to the team as a substitute before play begins. Substitutes scores will be recorded on the final team print-out and calculated into the overall payout fee structure. However, they are not warranted any team winnings. This decision is based solely on the team captain.
PAYOUT
50 percent of the weekly fees goes towards the final Session Payout. Teams receive a lump sum at the end of each session based on the percentage of wins of total games played. This keeps everything far, if one team plays more or less games then another. It also means that matches won to not affect overall score – so every game counts. It is up to your team (captain) to decide how to split your team earnings. (Some teams split it evenly between all players. Other teams divide based on games won by each player. A stat sheet will accompany team winnings for assistance.)
HANDICAPS
All handicapping systems are designed to even the odds between players of different skill levels. Cap City Dart League uses LeagueLeader to calculate and track handicaps.
Players’ Marks Per Round (MPR) is used for cricket games and Points Per Dart (PPD) for X01 games. When two or more players are on the same score their MPR/PPD’s are averaged. This average is used instead of individual MPR/PPD to set the handicap for that game.
